North Dakota Fishing & Hunting Reports
01
Only one report from the Greg the shuttle boat driver so far this afternoon but it does sound very promising. Paddlefish being caught in the Confluence area and up the Yellowstone as well. Not a lot of fishermen yet so tomorrow should be a peaceful and quite productive day for the early birds! It appears the river has peaked from this early rise and while we can look forward to it dropping for a little while it is still very high. Quite surprising that the snagging has been as good as it has for this early and with the high water. We will not hear much from the Pumphouse area with no boat shuttle till the fishermen get back to town and most likely not until tomorrow. If you are in the area I would strongly recommend getting out and snagging first thing in the morning. The walleye bite is good on the lake and also up the Missouri River past the Confluence. Smelt ran again last night but not in big numbers, it should be good for the weekend. It is time to enjoy living or at least visiting North Dakota so get out and do your thing. We will have more reports and pictures as we get them and don’t forget your picture could earn you a new paddlefish rig, get creative! : )

Don't forget about our Facebook page as it is loaded with photos both oldies and new, plus a lot of info and public input!
